Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of footballevents.eu (the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who We Are

The Service is operated by [Company OÜ, Tallinn, Estonia] ("we", "us", "our"), a private limited company registered in the Republic of Estonia. You can reach us at legal@footballevents.eu.

2. The Service

footballevents.eu is a B2B catalog and discovery platform for football events, tournaments, camps, tryouts, and related opportunities. We help organizers publish listings and help users discover them.

We are a catalog and information service. We are not a ticket seller, travel agent, event organizer, or party to any contract between an organizer and a user. Any agreement to attend, participate in, register for, or pay for an event is concluded directly between the user and the relevant organizer. We do not guarantee that any listed event will take place, will be safe, or will match its description.

3. Accounts

To use most features you must register an account. We support three roles:

  • USER — individuals browsing the catalog, saving events, and submitting applications.
  • ORGANIZER — clubs, academies, agencies, and event hosts that publish listings.
  • ADMIN — our internal staff.

You must provide accurate, current information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to register. Organizer accounts must be opened on behalf of a legally constituted entity by a person authorized to bind it.

4. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Content

You agree not to use the Service to publish, transmit, or solicit content that:

  • is unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading;
  • infringes intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights;
  • promotes hatred, discrimination, harassment, or violence;
  • targets or exploits minors inappropriately;
  • contains malware, scraping tools, or automated abuse;
  • duplicates listings, manipulates rankings, or fakes reviews;
  • offers events the organizer is not legally entitled to run;
  • collects personal data outside the application flow we provide.

We may remove content, suspend accounts, or terminate access at our discretion if we believe these Terms have been breached.

5. Organizer Responsibilities

Organizers are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and execution of their listings. This includes:

  • holding all required licenses, permits, insurance, and safeguarding policies;
  • complying with applicable consumer protection, data protection, sport governance, and tax law;
  • honoring offers, prices, and dates published in their listings;
  • responding to applications and user inquiries in a reasonable timeframe;
  • ensuring any media uploaded is owned or properly licensed.

Organizers indemnify us against claims arising from their listings or events.

6. Payments

Pricing is in EUR and shown inclusive or exclusive of VAT as indicated at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe; by paying you also agree to Stripe's terms.

  • Subscriptions (organizer plans) are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) and renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel from your dashboard; cancellation stops the next renewal but does not refund the current period.
  • Boosts and featured placements are one-time purchases. They activate when our system marks them active and run for the stated duration.
  • Ticketing (where offered in future versions) is sold by the organizer; we may act as a technical facilitator only.

You authorize us and our payment processor to charge the payment method on file for all amounts due, including renewals and applicable taxes.

7. Cancellation and Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, legal requirement, or extended inactivity. Sections that by their nature should survive (payments owed, IP, disclaimers, liability, governing law) survive termination.

8. Intellectual Property and Content License

We and our licensors own the Service, including its software, design, and brand. Organizers retain ownership of the content they upload (text, logos, images, video). By uploading content, organizers grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, translate, publicly display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Service. This license ends for new uses when the content is deleted, except for reasonable backups and records.

Users grant a similar license, limited to the content they submit (e.g., applications, reviews).

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that listings are accurate, that events will occur as described, that the Service will be uninterrupted, or that it is fit for any particular purpose. We disclaim all implied warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred euros (EUR 100). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (e.g., for gross negligence or willful misconduct).

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Disputes will be brought before the competent courts of Harju County, Estonia, unless mandatory consumer law grants you another forum.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, give reasonable advance notice by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
